Welcome to Nyack Birth Services. Our mission is to walk with you safely over the threshold to motherhood. Since 1997 we have provided holistic pregnancy, labor and postpartum services, natural childbirth classes and breastfeeding support for families living in Rockland County, New York and the surrounding areas.

At Nyack Birth Services, we believe...

the knowledge to give birth resides in you. We seek to honor you in your journey no matter where it takes you.

childbirth is not about books, "one way" thinking, special breathing or dilation charts.

If you are searching for creative, practical and natural childbirth classes in Rockland County and its surrounding areas, and are not eager to sign up for an institutional class series offered in-hospital, be sure to explore our offerings. We work with many homebirthers and can create homebirth classes specific to your special needs. Classes for "second-time" and "VBAC" parents who are looking for an enriching refresher experience are offered too.

We also offer labor support and doula care, La Leche League & breastfeeding counseling, Blessing way ceremonies and ritual, monthly pregnancy circles & new mother gatherings and individual and private classes and mentoring.
